Warranty PolicySOYO Warranty Policy SOYO warrants its product against defects in material or workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the original date of purchase, subject to the following terms and conditions: LABOR - For a period of one (1) year from the original date of purchase ("Warranty Period"), SOYO will repair, at no charge, any defect in material or workmanship in the Product, or at its option, replace a defective Product. PARTS - During the one (1) year warranty period, SOYO will supply, at no charge, new or rebuilt replacement parts in exchange for defective parts. SHIPPING - Customer is responsible to return the defective unit back to SOYO. This includes a shipping / freight charge paid by customer. NO EXCEPTION. Upon receiving the defective unit, SOYO technician will then do a various testing to find out the problem with the unit. Technician will also use customer report on service call number and RMA number to aid him/her to find the problems. If technician can’t find any problem with the unit, customer will be contacted for further info SOYO will not give any refunds for customer for any return. SOYO is not responsible for any custom / Duty fee that may apply After the expiration of the warranty period, repairs to the Product are the responsibility of you, the purchaser. After the Warranty Period or in the event of missing original receipt, you must pay for all parts, labor, and shipping fee. As a condition of replacement of Product, you shall make the Product available to SOYO free and clear of liens and other encumbrances, except as otherwise provided by a rule of order of the Federal Trade Commission in cases in which such a requirement would not be practicable. Replacement parts will be warranted for either the remainder of the original warranty period or ninety (90) days from date of installation, whichever occurs last. OBTAINING WARRANTY SERVICE - To obtain warranty services, you must call SOYO Technical support at You must deliver the Product freight prepaid, in either its original packaging or packaging affording an equal degree of protection. We suggest that customer obtain insurance for any packages shipped to us, as SOYO is NOT responsible for any package that are damaged or lost during shipping. You must also refer / include your RMA when you send to us. Any item that has no RMA will be rejected. All RMA returns will be thoroughly tested in regards to customer complaints, and will be returned to the customer approximately in 15 working days following receipt of the product by SOYO. EXCLUSIONS TO WARRANTY - Damage to the Product resulting from acts of God, accident, shipping damage, misuse, abuse, negligence, commercial use (not consumer or personal use), alteration, or unauthorized repair of the Product are not covered by this warranty. This warranty does not cover damage due to: (i) improper installation, set-up adjustments, operation, or maintenance; (ii) power surges, connection to incorrect voltage, or combination with incompatible components or accessories; or, (iii) repairs attempted by anyone other than an authorized SOYO service facility. PROOF OF ORIGINAL PURCHASE - A sales receipt, invoice, or other proof of purchase specifying the original date of purchase, must be presented within the one (1) year warranty period to obtain warranty service. This warranty extends to the original purchaser and is not transferable. The factory applied serial number must appear on the Product or this warranty shall not apply. Advance Replacement If customer wishes to do an Advance Replacement, SOYO will need to charge the full amount of the item. After clearing of the payment, a replacement unit will be sent out in 72 Hours. NO EXCEPTION. Customer still needs to follow RMA process as described above. Customer is responsible to return the defective unit back to SOYO. This includes a shipping / freight charge paid by customer. A credit of full-amount-of item that was charged prior to “Advance Replacement” process will be made upon receiving the defective unit back from customer. Customer needs to make sure that there is no physical damage on the defective unit in order to receive full credit. There would be no refund for any shipping fee. EITHER REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT IS YOUR EXCLUSIVE REMEDY UNDER THIS WARRANTY. EXCEPT TO THE EXTENT PROHIBITED BY LAW, SOYO SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES CLAIMED TO ARISE FROM BREACH OF ANY EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTY ON THIS PRODUCT. ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE ON THIS PRODUCT IS LIMITED IN DURATION Some States do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, or allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you.
